Nigerian Star Boy Wizkid could not stay indifferent to the
national tragedy of Chibok girls abduction and joined the social media
#BringBackOurGirls campaign.

The
musician took to his Facebook page to post the photo of himself holding
a sheet of paper with the notorious hashtag written on it.
Nigeria along and the agencies from all over the world participate in the operation aimed at rescue of more than 230 girls abducted by Boko Haram insurgents on April 14 from Chibok school, Borno State.
The viral hashtag #BringBackOurGirl raised awareness of the issue in the social media. Top politicians and celebrities have joined this anti-kidnap campaign.
Boko Haram sect claimed responsibility for the abduction and released two videos in connection with the crime. In one video Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau said the girls are his ownership and said they would sell them in the market.
In the recent video, released Monday,
Boko Haram leader claimed that Chibok girls were converted to Islam and
set the option that they would be released in exchange for Boko Haram
prisoners.
