A magistrate court sitting in ikorodu area of lagos state has ordered the wife of the late singer Mohbad, wunmi, be served a notice of a pending DNA test application, by substituted means.
A member of the legal team to Aloba family, disclosed this on Wednesday, april 17th in a statement signed by her.
Mohbad's father, Joseph Aloba, in the application filed by the legal team of the family sought an order to serve wunmi by posting all originating processes and other processes in the suit on the last-known of the respondent.
The statement revealed that the legal team led by Emmanuel okoro had argued that the sherriff had attempted twice to serve wunmi the court order process but failed.
It was further stressed that "if the the process were served to the last-known address of the respondent by court order, it would constitute good service and wunmi would be aware of the pending suit.
The Cheif Magistrate has now granted the order and ordered that the respondent be served by posting the court process to her last-known address.
The Aloba family true cause of these process is to certify the paternity of Mohbad's baby Liam and then filed an application before the family court wherein it sought and order of the court against wunmi to present her self and Liam for the DNA test at any well recognized laboratory.
